Gorge-ous

Hiking along the Cline River in the Canadian Rockies.
I'm a wee bit scared of heights, but I can look at just about anything through a camera lens.

Thank you for that!

I'm a bit more nature-starved than usual, although there's a nice reservoir nearby with plenty of trees and birds and such. I shall go visit later this morning. But we're seriously overdue for a camping trip and some real wilderness. We were going to go to Yosemite in June but mother-in-law's health interceded.

I need to smell some pines and get a good distance away from buildings and cars for awhile!

And I love the Canadian Rockies!

Can kiwis join the Canadian Rockies fan club? It was one place that I determined I would return to one day.

What a beautiful scene! Nothing like the Rockies out here in Maryland, unfortunately. The Appalachians are more "rolling hills" than mountains. Even when I went to Mountain Warfare School in Vermont there were only two snow-capped mountains to be seen.

You're quite welcome, Crabby.
It's important to get out and reconnect with nature. I love to smell the pines, too.

They sure can, Dawn. I do hope you make it back to see the Rockies. And I'm hoping to get to NZ some day. It's on our list.

Thank you, Michael, I didn't realize the Appalachians weren't proper mountains.
