It's unusual to see juncos at the feeders. We get them in the yard in spring and fall, but this is the first time they've gone for the sunflower seeds we put out.
The harsh wind and fresh, deep snow has likely covered up most of their regular food sources.
They were so intent on stuffing their beaks they ignored the camera.

9 Good Points:
Nice shots. Our juncos are usually ground feeders too, and quite shy. Nice to see them feeding their wee faces.
Beautiful, I don't blame them for not wanting to dig through the snow.
Thanks, Hilary.
It was nice to see them so close, but it's unfortunate that they had to come to the feeders for the food.
I don't blame them either, Reb.
They are using the feeders here, too, the poor little things.
Great shots, dfLeah!
Thanks, dfBag Lady. It's sad to see they have to come to the feeders, but at least they're getting food.
I feel sad for all the junco's who don't have kind folks with bird feeders nearby.
Great that you got photos of these guys!
Thanks, Crabby. I think they appreciated it.
We have juncos almost all the time, feeding with the mourning doves on the ground, but occasionally perching, too I guess we've made them lazy. We just got a longer camera lens, so we're trying to capture some nice shots of the avian beauties that come by. Keep those feeder reports coming!
Clare2e, best of luck with bird pics.
I'm hoping to get more goldfinch photos this year and I'd like to get one when the bluejays come to the feeder and the water bowl.
We haven't had many evening grosbeaks the past two years or so and I want them to come back.
