Linked Like A Sausage

A hawk waits and listens for a morsel.

I’ve been blessed to have a few more freelance pieces published.
They range from UFO Digest to New Age Journal to the local newspaper The Mountaineer.
Some will not be to everyone’s tastes, and that’s fine. You’re under no obligation to click over, but if you would like to here are the links:

Here’s some channeled info at A Conversation With The Earth
Adding a physical component to altered state work at Reinforcing Your Altered State
A story on the local Fish and Game Association.
Fighting the gray realm with love to avoid material seduction.
Why we should choose kindness in dealing with others.

I may have put in a link to the altered state article at New Age Journal already. If I’ve repeated myself, I’m sorry.
Like the hawk looking for something to eat I hope these links give your mind something to feed on for a bit.
Enjoy them or not as you see fit.

Wow, what a cool picture! There are quite a few hawks here, too, and we have seen a couple fairly close up in the woods.

Congratulations on the publication of those pieces! That's fabulous. I enjoyed them all but I particularly enjoyed "A Conversation With The Earth" and "Fight the Gray Realm." The imagery in "Conversation" was lovely, and it was beautifully heartfelt. And "Fight the Gray Realm" -- wow, what a tremendously important message for these troubled times.

So of course I rush right over to the "altered states" link--and, what is this, sweeping?!?

But you make a great point about how everyday mundane tasks can be transformed into something deeper and richer.

Not that I'm exactly running over to the closet to find my broom... I think perhaps I'll put extra conscious enjoyment into my morning coffee instead.

TL - I'm glad you enjoyed the picture. I love to see them as the hawk is my bird totem.
I appreciate your kind words about the freelance pieces. It's gratifying to learn the Earth and gray realm articles made such an impression on you.

Crabby - Nothing like putting a chore to good use. Thanks for your kind words. Oh, by all means, give it all to the coffee.

dfLeah - congratulations, cousin, on the publication of your articles! Great job, as always.
(although I seem to be with Crabby on the sweeping part - that's like work, right?)
:)

Thanks so much, df Bag Lady. Yeah, the sweeping is work, but this adds another level to it.

Great pic! I too read the altered state piece - great writing and thoughts! Will try to put this into practice.

df Leah,

I so appreciate your take on things.

I enjoyed all the articles, but especially the "choose kindness" one, as I am an impatient person and have to be constantly reminded that the world doesn't run at my frantic pace. Since I cannot choose patience (apparently) I do try to choose kindness, because even I understand that impatience comes across as mean.

Very enjoyable articles.

Missicat, thank you so much. Good luck with using it.

dfTerrie, thank you. Perhaps by choosing kindness you'll find you have more patience.

Mizfit - Thanks so much. Good to know my efforts hold your interest.

You've piqued my curiosity re: your day job. Of course you can be vague and answer in generalities. Or not at all.
