Gratitude Monday --Another Year

Today I turn another year older, and  I am damned grateful for it.
I'm alive, kicking, reasonably healthy, engaged in life, and looking forward to whatever the year has in store.
I'll only be 52 once this lifetime. I'm going to enjoy it.
Are you enjoying your age?

Happy B-Day, Leah! Great attitude you have. Can't say I've settled into 40 yet but I'm working on it.

A very Happy Birthday to you, Leah! I'm in total agreement...better another birthday than the alternative - ha!

I am enjoying my age, too. There's so much to do and learn and I don't expect that I'll ever be bored.

Happy Birthday, cousin!
You're right - you'll only be this age once, so you might as well enjoy it.
Hope the day is great for you, and the coming year holds many wonderful experiences.

Thanks, David. I'm sure 40 will settle with you soon. NB, I don't feel a day over 40 myself.

Cheryl, thanks. Glad you're enjoying your age. Once we stop learning we've had it.

Cousin, thank you. The year won't know what's coming.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEAH!
I wish I could come throw confetti.
But as it is so "beautifully" cold out, I will throw you wishes through the air as I sit by my fire:)
Is your hubby making you a roast?
Have a wonderful day.
I embrace your attitude on time and age.
And really....WE know without looking in the mirror- we ARE only 20 something after all:)

Dawn, thanks for the birthday wishes. We had dinner out last night and saw the Harry Potter movie. We never know Mike's work schedule so we take the time when we have it.

We'll see what the day brings.

Happy birthday!
The Bag Lady sent me (only because she beat Reb to it).
Honesty about our age is a good thing.
