Hope, and Some Things in the Background with Feathers

The sun has been working its magic on the latest snowfall.
This melt is from our roof. We collect it in a basin for the birds to drink from and bathe in. We have hope it and the rest of the melt will continue.
While we had no takers yesterday, there are are chickadees and house finches about as you can hear in the background.

Water is always good. (In my enthusiasm I first hit caps lock instead of shift.)

Very good of you to use the water instead of letting it just be run off, i'm sure as it warms up, the birds will appreciate it.

Messymimi, we've watched then skim over the water. It's cute.

The spring melt can't come soon enough for me. We have had some melty weather, but the temperature has dropped again today. *drumming fingers on desk...."C'mon spring!"

I'm glad the drip, drip, drip is working for you. As for us, we have a broken drain pipe in our kitchen which as done some water damage to the walls and basement. Not my favourite sound at the moment but I'm sure the Zen of drip, drip, drip will return when all is said and done. ;)

Mine is a good drip, yours is a bad drip. I hope everything gets fixed soon.
