Photo-Finish Friday --Dammed

FireWoodsDay 006Abraham Lake from Windy Point This is one of my favourite spots along The David Thompson Highway (Highway 11). The lake is man made. The North Saskatchewan River was dammed in the early 1970s.

This is one of my favorite spots too but I like scrambling up the steep slope and going behind the top of the ridge.

What a beautiful spot. Is the water truly that turquoise? It's heavenly.
