I had a few lovely quiet moments Saturday under this magnificent tree out west. It was important I do this and absolutely necessary for my well-being. Thank you, tree, for being you.
I bought this particular house in the city (instead of one less than a quarter-mile away, which had A Garage, and also a slightly larger basement) because it had several large trees. I enjoy them every day, even when they drop large branches within feet of my Jeep.
That was the hardest thing about moving a year ago, was leaving the big willow tree right outside my office window. One develops a relationship with them. . . .
Oh that looks lovely and relaxing. I wouldn't dare do likewise, right now. Our trees are being naturally fertilized by deer pellets.. in the thousands.

ReplyDeleteIt's why i enjoy so much the grove of trees across the street. They are calm, no matter what else is going on.

ReplyDeleteMessymimi, it's the calmness I wanted the most. I appreciate all trees, but the Douglas Fir I visited on Saturday was more than wonderful.
