Photo-Finish Friday -- Still Life

We're slowing down with the cold. Even if we're iced up or snowed in there's still life inside us.

Stunning photo Leah! Slowing down - good idea, then maybe I won't trip on dry pavement - when the rest of the city is covered in ice. Yep, I did.

Photos like this almost make me want to rethink my plans of moving to Tahiti every winter. It would be worth being a bit cold to see this in person.

I still could not live a whole winter where you do, though.

Nancy, thank you.

Reb, thanks. Speaking as one who can trip over solid air, I understand.

Messymimi, thanks. It's lovely to see. I'm sure you could manage a winter.

Everyone, thanks so much for the compliments re: my photos. Warms my heart to know you appreciate them.

I'm a big fan of slowing down. It's the best way I know of, when it comes to noticing things. (It's also good advice when it comes to navigating icy paths.)

Slowing down is good, and you're so right about icy paths, Frank.
