Happy Birthday, Hatshepsut

Temple of Hatshepsut, Egypt.

Today is the female Pharaoh's birthday.
Messymimi noted this over at her blog so I decided to steal it.

Just incredible!! It boggles the mind to think of what it took to build this.

Female Pharaohs? Shows how clueless I am, I didn't know Pharaohs came in two genders. Good to hear that!

I'd sing "Happy Birthday Dear Hatshepsut," but it seems a bit two much of a tongue twister to manage.

Glad my meandering came in handy.

Beautiful pic, reminds me again why Greece was beautiful, but i still want to see Egypt.

Betty, I still can't get my mind around it.

Crabby, she is referred to as queen, but she was a pharaoh.

Messymimi, I hope you get your wish. BTW, I look forward every day to your blog,
