Who's Feeling Seussesque?

We found this lively character along the Jasper-Banff Highway during our Sunday drive.
By day it's a mountain dryad, probably a yellow one.
It looks like something Seussian which makes me wonder what it gets up to when no one's around.

It does look Seussian! And three cheers for random roadside weirdness, one of the best reasons for road trips.

You are absolutely right...it DOES look Seussian! There's gotta be a story there, don't you think?

Laurita, count on it. Thanks.

Crabby, I love random roadside weirdness.

Cheryl, I do think that.

:) Like it. We need to put out a secret camera.....

I kinda like Dawn's idea - a secret spy camera to see what's goin' on out there!!

Dancing while turning the leaves pretty colours, perhaps? At night, of course, so no one can watch.

Excellent idea, Dawn.

Bag Lady, do we really want to know?

Messymimi, I bet you're right.

Quite a unique look and, I agree, very Seussian. There's a story there, Leah.

David, I hope someone can tickle the details out of it.

I wonder as well. Our oldest got a game camera to help determine what critters are doing at night in our back field. Maybe we will see a distant cousin dancing here.

Congrats on your POTW.

So that's what it is! or was? Congrats on your POTW.

Am back to congratulate you on your POTW! I repeat...a story is lurking there!

TexWisGirl, thanks.

Slamdunk, that sure wouldn't surprise me.

Thanks, Tabor. It's good to have someone who can identify plants.

Thanks, Cheryl.

Now you've got many of us wondering!
And I'm also envious of Sunday drives on the Jasper-Banff Highway.

Happy POTW!
