Photo-Finish Friday --Making Their Fun

These Guatemalan children took advantage of a downpour in their village. When we drove by they were splashing in the running water and thoroughly enjoying themselves, except for the standing boy.

I regret the reflection from the bus window.
We went by slowly enough that when they saw the busload of snapping tourists they stood up and posed.

All the world around, a child is a child and a puddle is some of the best fun there is. Thanks for sharing this and giving me a smile.

I love a good puddle myself. You're welcome, Messymimi.

Red, aye.

Thanks, Bag Lady.

It's bliss to not know any better, Tabor.

They look like they are having so much fun that I want to join them. Now, if only I could get down onto the ground that way and know that I could get back up ;)

Kids are kids everywhere. Love playing in the rain.

Me, too, Reb.
That's right, David.

I've often seen this at "Buddies in the Saddle" blog. I stop by and visited and must say I like how you simple describe yourself: a writer who likes mountains and photography... That's enough, and it's good.

Sage, so glad you came by. Thanks.

Adorable, delightful faces. I'm so glad you got this one before they posed. It's wonderful.

Hilary, glad you enjoyed it. Catching them unawares is best.

indeed, they really enjoyed it so much. They don't mind if they're soaking wet, all they mind is that they are really enjoying the moment. It's good to be a lil kid again. No worries.
