"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy."
-Hamlet, Act One, Scene Five
This above all: to thine ownself be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man.” - (again with the Hamlet)
We went for a drive to Jasper on Saturday. We left the house early, before 6:30 a.m., with the idea we'd see more wildlife that way.
We were not disappointed.
About 45 minutes into the trip we were treated to the sight of a young grizzly bear digging for roots in the ditch.
We took many photos and a few videos.
This video was done by my husband.
Enjoy.
Wow, great capture, thanks so much for sharing the Grizzly Especially since there is NO WAY IN HELL I'd ever get close enough to get a great video like that.
Crabby, our pleasure. The griz was in the ditch of the opposite lane looking away most of the time and intent on finding breakfast. And we left the car running and did not get out.

This gets a big WOW from me! Nice on the grizzly spotting.
Glad you enjoyed it, Kimberley.
Nicely done, Leah. Coming out from their winter dens their intention isoften on food. Banff National Parks has put out bear warnings on their website.
