Today I go for a CT scan.
It's being done out of an abundance of caution, nothing more. It's to check to ensure the cancer I had hasn't reared up and spread out.
I am convinced the cure has long since taken, but garnering physical evidence to back it up is never wrong.
I have to go to Red Deer for it and generally that's a pleasant drive.
The test is covered by health care and goes quickly.
It's all good.

I am convinced too, but as you said physical evidence to back it up is never wrong.
Enjoy the drive and I look forward to reading about your positive results.

Looking forward to your being given an "all clear!"
Thank you, Kimberley and Messymimi.
I hope you get very good news in Red Deer.
This will ease your mind and you seem to have to best attitude. Have a safe and peaceful day.
"Covered by health care and goes quickly": beautiful words!

Sorry, have been off-line (in the wilds of Quebec, where the natives do not, apparently, speak English and internet was impossible to come by) and missed this; really hope the scan went well and that all is good with you!
Best thoughts, Leah. I hope all is well with you.
