They last few days I have been mulling over what to be grateful for in this post,
Many things came to me, as they do, but nothing stood up and made its case.
It was then I realized the most important lesson of gratitude:
What's not to be grateful for?"

Being grateful for the usual, the routine, yes. So often gratitude prompts sound to me like "What's your favorite color?" to which my answer is "All of them."

Exactly. There are so many things, it's impossible to keep count. Listing one is a great way to focus, but sometimes the big picture needs to be acknowledged.
In a way, this is exactly the reason I have never felt the need to post my gratitude - I am grateful for everything, all of the time.
