Abundance Cheque Day

The new moon is upon us again and you know what that means.
Dig out your chequebooks. It's abundance cheque time.
The dark of the moon gets here at 6:35 MST. I've got 24 hours from that moment to write myself a cheque.
I've been really good at this for a few years now. It has served me well and with the economic downturn here for an unwelcome visit this is no time to stop.
I was away last month and didn't do it, though I did think about it. I could have faked a cheque, but was lazy.
If you need a reminder or are just learning about this now, the process is simple.
Take a cheque.
Make it out to yourself.
In the amount box write "Paid in Full."
In the amount line write "Paid In Full.
Omit the date.
Sign it "The Law of Abundance."
Put it away somewhere and forget about it until next month.
Please understand that abundance manifests itself in many ways. It might be money, job offers or more work, food, or anything else.
What I'm telling you is expand your thinking and do not restrict the Universe. It knows what it's doing whether we do or not.
Happy Abundance.

Thank you, Leah. I do this every time you remind me. ;)

This is the first I've heard of this Leanh and I'll give it a try tonight. Hey, it couldn't hurt.

Leah, thanks for the reminder. I have been a bit remiss lately. Or just stupid, I would think of it a day or two before and not think of it again until a day or two later :(

You're welcome, Hilary. I must remember to put this up more often.

Tom, I recommend this. It works.

Reb, if you remember in time, do it anyway. I sometimes am surprised by how quickly the new moon gets here.

I love your hopeful, optimistic attitude. It's like a dip in a peaceful, refreshing pool to come visit you. :)

That's such a good idea, Leah. A person needs to remind themselves every now and again of what we really have!

dfLeah - thank you for the reminder! It's been some time since I did this - I forget if I don't have your reminder!

Thomma Lyn, that's the kindest thing ever said of me. Thank you.

I agree, Redbush. Willyou give it a shot?

dfBag Lady, I will remind you as often as I remember to put up a post on it. You have until 6:30 tonight to get it done.

Thanks - will definitely do that. Need a little hope and optimism these days!

I hadn't heard of Abundance Checks before! Sounds like a great idea.

But it does remind me of what my husband used to yammer on about--people who act according to the Law of Scarcity, which is a stultifying way to live. If you're always afraid you're going to lose, or if you think there's not enough money to go around for everybody, you will be living a hellish life.

(Incidentally, a propos there not being enough money to go around, check this out if you haven't already: The L Curve

What a great time to focus on abundance rather than scarcity. It's scary out there financially, but there are different forms of abundance to keep an eye out for.

Missicat, you'll never go wrong writing an abundance cheque.

Melissa, I discovered them about two years ago. It was a few months before I noticed the difference, but when I looked back I realized the improvements had begun right away.
You're right about scarcity. If that's your mind set, then that's what you'll perceive no matter what you have. You'll also call to you what your mind creates so the scarcity you fear will manifest for you. Thanks for the linky.

Yes, Crabby, it is scary. Keep your focus on the positive. It's difficult sometimes to see abundance around us, but even finding more friends is a form of abundance.

To whom do I complain if it bounces?

;)

Good idea Leah. I've always been a glass-mostly-full guy - even if I have to close my eyes to see it.

A line I use whenever I need steady money coming in is:
'the walls of lack and all delay are history and crumble away’.

I have noted your request to the Universe. Thanks. These things work.
