It's Tax Time

This is how I feel about tax time.

It's that time of the year again.
I got my tax info all sorted out yesterday and bundled off to my accountant this morning.
In a few days the return will be completed and sent off to the government and my financial duties to my country will be done.
I have nothing else to add save I'm relieved. For now.
What about you? Is this your favorite time of year?

The photo was along a retaining wall in a little town at the end of the Reloncavii Fjord in Chile. I have no idea what it says or means, but I got a kick out of it.

Love the graffiti, I think it represents tax time very well! I don't mind tax time, but then mine are so simple! I like that spring is here even if only on the calendar.

df Leah,

I am just starting my tax forms. I know that it is a privilege to pay taxes because it means I have an income, so I am blessed.

But it is always a bit of a nuisance. Still, it will all be over soon.

Thanks, Reb. I got quite a kick out of it.
My taxes are simple, too. That's a blessing.
And yes, tax time means spring is here.

dfTerrie, that's a great way to view it. It reminds me that for a few moments each year the federal government cares about me.

Yes, it's tax time for me, too! I'm always afraid what the government has in store for me! That graffiti reminded me of Halloween! It was quite the face!

It really is an expressive bit of art, isn't it?
Happy taxes, Redbush!

It's tax time in the U.S. too...Help! Mine are actually pretty simple, but I help others with their returns. Plus I also file business tax reports...yes am a little buried these days.

I feel for you, Missicat. Maybe Bad Cat and Bad Kitten will lend a paw.

That picture certainly represents how I feel about tax time!
I'm almost finished sorting and figuring and hoping I haven't forgotten something really important.... will get them to the accountant soon.
Sigh.

I'm sure you've done just fine, df Bag Lady.
Your accountant will let you know if more info is needed.

To think the tax system was implemented for the war effort and never removed afterward. Though I'm looking forward to my refund, small that it is.

How 'bout those temporary measures?
