And the day came when the risk it took to remain tight inside the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.

It's a good one, MizFit, and a personal favourite.
Gorgeous photos, cousin! And the quotes are very appropriate.
Why thank you, Cousin.

Thank you so very much, Hilary.
I AM enjoying them, and the quotes you chose.
I'm glad, Clare2e.
Lovely flower, great shots and the quotes are very appropriate.
Thank you, Reb.
Oh wow, I love your pictures of the Egyptian Onion -- gorgeous, and I'm sure, quite tasty, too.
And wowie, the quotes... they are fabulous. Thanks. Needed both of 'em.
Thomma Lyn, thanks so much. When I saw them the other day I was so taken with their shape I had to do something. They are tasty. The fresh green shoots are a welcome addition to any meal early in the spring.
As for the quotes, those are two of my favourites. Nin is for finding the courage to change while Suess, well, that's just plain good advice.
Dr. Seuss always had the neatest lines; at least I've always thought so.
The photos of the onions are great with the stretching out of the blossom.
Seuss was wonderful, Barabra.
Thanks for your kindness about the pics.
