A fine sight in the Falklands.
Two Gentoo Penguins make their way from one group of birds to another. They took their time, as is the way of the penguin, much to the delight of the camera-laden guests.
Penguins in the Falklands have the right-of-way.

Of course penguins deserve the right of way - it's their island!! Love the picture of the stroll.
Thanks, dfBag Lady. And yeah, they were there first.
The world could use more penguins in my opinion. Such jaunty creatures. Alas, none in my neigborhood.
Crabby, you're absolutely right. Bring on the Penguins!!
Another week, another terrific photo.
How lovely it must be there. Penguins strolling along are so cute.
David, thank you so much.
Reb, yes, they are. I found the Falklands lovely because I'm attracted to the empty quarters of the world. I'd move there in a heartbeat.
I don't think there's a more amusing, heart-warming bird than a penguin. Love these guys!
You have penguins???? Lucky you!
Penguins look so happy all the time, Hilary. And in their tuxes they are always well turned - out.
Nancy, we were on a South American cruise in the winter. It was quite a penguin party.
hehe, I love it -- "penguins have the right of way." That's exactly as it should be. What a beautiful picture!
I love the way they walk.
Thomma Lyn, I couldn't agree more re: right-of-way. And thank you.
Barbara, they are so cute.
These penquins are so adorable! Do they have signs there that say "penquins crossing"?
Polly, I don't recall if they do, but the signs would fit right in.
