Or, as grandad might have put it:

"Välkomnande hem, stordotter".

Tack själv , kusin , för den här avbilda om gammal homestead.

(thanks, cousin, for this picture of the old homestead)

dfBag Lady, you're welcome. And good for you for the Swedish. I am impressed.

Carumba! I would like to know what's behind the door.

David, it would make an interesting story if done properly.
The literal answer is leftovers from life.

Oh I love this! And I want to read about and see that story.

Thanks, Hilary. Not sure if I'd ever tackle anything in writing, but I have photos of the innards of the house. They may be of some interest.

"... leftovers from life." Very intrigued, very intrigued!

David, thanks very much.

Leah, you should write a story about the house and how it was built by granddad. Lovely shot and I like your answer to David.

Reb, thanks so much. I'm fond of this shot. Meanwhile, I am not sure. I think you sister would do a much better job of that house's life.

dfTerrie, thank you. Yes. Possibilities. I spent the first year of my life there.

That's a wonderful photo! I love old houses. They inspire so many I Wonders and What Ifs...

Thanks so much, Stories. (Can I call you that?) It really gets the thinking juices going.
