We got to spend some time with a Santeria priest in Cuba one morning. Along with learning about his religion, we got to see this view out of the sanctuary.

ETA: I'm tickled to say that David Cranmer has decided to post his own Photo-Finish Friday, and Laurie Powers will be getting in on the fun later on today.
Check 'em out. I think you'll be pleased.

Id lovelove a post about what you learned.
some day.
when you have the time.
Im sure we'd all love to read it.
Now that's a room with a view! Marvelous shot.
(I will have my pic posted soon.)
Cuba is one of those places that's on my list. Must be a photographer's heaven.
Carla, thanks. I'm a-feared I don't recall much about it other than it's a hybrid of Catholicism and some African religions.
Thank you, David. I'll be over shortly to see what you've posted.
Hello, Laurie. Welcome. It is a beautiful island and the way of life is so different from here. It's an interesting, amazing place.
I love these pictures. I'll probably never get to Cuba so I appreciate your photos.

Thanks so much, Mary.
What a view! I wouldn't want to leave. You captured the feeling of it, at least to me.
You're very kind, Messymimi. Thanks.
This is a lovely photo, cousin!
I'll have to slip over to David's now....
Thank you kindly.
Wow, the texture in this photo is amazing.
Thanks so much, Nancy.
That's a great photo, Leah. The colours and textures are wonderful. I'll bet it made for an interesting day.
Hilary, thanks. I'm glad you like it. The lines and shapes in it are what intrigued me about it.
