"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy."
-Hamlet, Act One, Scene Five
This above all: to thine ownself be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man.” - (again with the Hamlet)
Each time you post photos of these lovely critters I'm struck by just how special it would be to encounter them in the wild like that. I'm so glad for you that you were able to enjoy them.

Wow...so very very cool. I would love to have done this.
Another thing for my someday list. Thanks for sharing this.
Tabor, it was the coolest. I hope you still can someday.
Messymimi, you're welcome. They're loud and they stink and I just love them.
I love penguins - they are so cute.
Great photo, cousin!
Thanks, Cousin.
How totally cool! I'd love to meet some penguins someday.
I love that you got so close. The one laying down a bit in front of you is funny.
Bunnygirl, I hope that day comes soon.
Reb, it was great. I must have stumbled on the sacred penguin morning nap ritual.
That would be a great experience.
I love them! Especially how the male protects the eggs.
David, it was.
Nancy, we could learn a lot.
The only penguins I've ever had the pleasure of seeing have been in zoos! Wow, you must have been over the moon! Great pictures.
(They stink, huh?...well, so do lots of other animals that aren't nearly as interesting.)
There is something about these birds that I just love...they are so cute.
Mary
CherylK, I was. It was the best.
Mary, they're cute and well-dressed.

It truly was, Hilary. The camera does not do them justice.
