Gratitude Monday --A Golden Moment

We went for a drive on Christmas Day. We've been doing this for a few years now and each time out we've been blessed to see eagles.
Usually we see Bald Eagles but this year was different. We found a pair of juvenile Golden Eagles. I was grateful to see them and grateful we were able to get some pictures.
This  picture is barely adequate. If enlarged it will be blurry, but I got the shot. That's what matters.

Awesome shot, Leah. There was a pair of golden eagles nesting just outside the next village but I never got a chance to capture them on a photo. Next year!!

Hope you had a great Christmas.

Great shot, Leah. I've seen some Bald Eagles from a distance but still haven't gotten a close up like I did with the Owl.

It's always nice to see Golden eagles are maintaining their numbers. A pair means chicks in the spring and hopefully they will continue reproducing more.

Majestic bird. I happened upon an eagle while driving in Montana two years ago. I pulled over, but it was lifting off and gone before I could get out with my camera. Thanks.

Barbara, I hope we get to have more of them around.

Ron, seeing an eagle is always a treat.
