"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy."
-Hamlet, Act One, Scene Five
This above all: to thine ownself be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man.” - (again with the Hamlet)
Haha...TOO funny:) And the only reason I never fell for it was because IF I knew or even thought these things existed in our Alberta- I would never venture into my woods;)) Love it! I'm going to show it to my boys when they wake up:)

Im so gullible Im sitting here thinking:
COOL! VERY. Wait. IS SHE PULLING MY LEG? It does look like a snake. Is she joking??
(repeat)
Ha! You had me looking and scrutinizing.
Same here! I've never had my nose so close to my screen inspecting something!! HA!! Nice one, Leah.
What is it anyway?
Miz, it's just a bit of fun.
David C., it does look realistic, doesn't it?
David B., thanks. It's snow drooping off a downed tree. I thought it looked cool.
Goob. But yeah, I chortled.
Glad you did, VL.

Excellent capture of the elusive Alberta Snow Snake, cousin! That's one of the best I've seen.
Fortunately, the Alberta Snow Snake isn't poisonous, and is easily dispatched! (All one needs is a quick kick and it will be destroyed.)
(and I'm chuckling over some of the comments!)
Should have guessed this was coming after your snipe pic...
Dawn, thanks. I'm not scared of snakes, but if these really existed I would probably stay in the truck to take the pic.
Thank you, Bag Lady. We were lucky to spot it and so glad it was resting.
Ron, I never really thought of it, but I see what you mean.
Ha! Very cool. It does look quite a bit like a snake.
Thanks, Laurita. It was quite something.
Excellent capture Leah. Love some of the other comments ;)
Why thank you, Reb. They're such shy critters. I was lucky to find it.
What a cool pic. I wonder what it is, really, underneath that snow.
Thanks, Bunnygirl. It's just snow. It slumped in the melt then froze again.
How neat! I didn't know that snow could do that.
Very good pic.
Thanks, Messymimi.
Oh nicely done! :)
Thanks, Hilary.
Oh my goodness, look at that ... love it! Great pic ... and congrats on the POTW!
I'm hoping all are safe and no pets are missing.
That's cool! Congrats on POTW.
* snort *
