"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy."
-Hamlet, Act One, Scene Five
This above all: to thine ownself be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man.” - (again with the Hamlet)
Those trees (at least the front half) are so even they might have been sheared with a giant clipper. Yet they are changing color at different rates. Go, natural diversity!
Great photo. Still waiting for some sign of autumn here in the desert. I think it will be when the Canadian license plates start showing up in the parking lot at the grocery store. Ha.

We have only a few trees down here that change that way, and i cherish them, as well as pictures of the ones up north.
Mary Anne, diversity is the best!
Messymimi, having only a few makes them even more special.
Lovely shot. We've had some wind, so a lot of the leaves here have blown away.
It's sad to see them go, BL.
