This rose-breasted grosbeak visited a few summers ago. I'd like him or one like him to pay a return call.
My guess is it won't be until June or so, but I can dream.
I'm hoping by dint of sympathetic magic this photo will bring the visitor back.

I have seen these but only high in a tree in a nearby woods. Never have they come to my feeders!
I find the larger grosbeaks can be reluctant to get close. I was so happy this one consented to eat.
I'll add my hopes, wishes and good vibes that he does too. After that, you can send him this way for a visit, please. Lovely shot.
Thanks for all the vibe help, Hilary. I'll do what I can should he return.
I haven't seen one of these for a long time.
Sharp colors he's sporting.
May he and his brethren grace your bird feeder soon.
Thanks, all.
They are such a pretty bird, and have a lovely song. Good capture!
I loves me some grosbeaks, cousin. Thanks.
