We've had snow the last few days and it has been cold. It's good for my husband's work. It's good for moisture and all manner of other things, but it is spring, and that means melt.
Late in the afternoon yesterday the sun was out and warm and the snow turned to slush and then water.
I love the sound of melting, running water. It sounds like a promise made in joy
Here's a very short video of running water, courtesy the sun.
This is what we woke up to yesterday morning.
The sun came out, and I am grateful.

I took the sun so so so for granted when I was a texan.

I'll do my best, Tabor.
Carla, you just never know when it's going to be out.
We are really being tested this year as far as weather goes. Saturday's snow was quite a dump as it melted as it came down for the first half.
Wasn't it Anne of Green Gables who said said something to the effect that snow in April is like getting a slap in the face when you expected a kiss? It seems about right.
I hear from SO many people that this year's weather has been such a challenge, hope your sun is here to stay for awhile!
We've had crazy weather here as well. I'm ready for the sun to come around and stay while myself.
That's quite the steady flow. Hurry spring!
Spring is a glorious time of year. It has a special smell and feel to it. In a couple of weeks you'll be headed for the mountains, I'm sure.
Oh how I hope the sun comes around soon! Next week, according to the forecast, but we have to endure yet another cold, wintery weekend first.
Sorry for not responding. I must have gotten it into my head I'd already done so. Thanks everyone for coming by.
I want spring now.
