Photo Finish Friday - Warm and Sunny Edition

Click, enlarge, enjoy.

It's been cold and grey and snowy lately. Nothing wrong with that, of course. It's perfectly normal.
But after a while it gets to a person. We need sun and warm and green and we need to be reminded that it'll be along soon enough.
The above picture is intended as just such a reminder.

I ADORE the picture.
It's often sunnny and bright around here in the physical world, but that doesnt mean we (I? who can say :)) dont *need* some sunny and bright in the mental world.

have a great weekend.

It's sunny here! But the trees are bare and it's f-f-f-freezing!!

Happy Friday, thanks for the welcome splash of green (my favourite colour too!)

Bless you, cousin, that was exactly what I needed to see this morning! I have no idea if it will be sunny here today - it's still dark, and it's too freakin' cold to step outside and see if there are stars visible! I have officially joined the ranks of the wimps.

Thanks, MizFit. Nice to know I brightened your day. Have a great weekend, too.

Tokaiangel, totally hear you. Green reminds us the world is only resting. You're welcome.

dfBag Lady, sunshine and warm green helps. The stars are out here, and it's -20C wth fresh snow. Refreshing as all get out.
I don't get out every morning any more. I joined the wimp brigade months ago.

Just FYI - it's -30 with nary a star visible.... in the 3-second dash I took to check. The forecast is for a high of -8. Ha

Fellow wimpette chiming in to say that photo is a sight for sore, snow-blind eyes. Thanks for that.

df Bag Lady, you win!

You're welcome, Hilary.

Just what I needed! It was clear here around midnight ;) It is dull grey now though. I founded the wimp club.

You've come through again! Just yesterday I was wondering if pictures of sunnyness work to chase away the winter blues. Works for me. :>)

I commented over at BL's blog, but also wanted to thank you for inspiring me to get my own digital camera last week. I Love your blog and your pictures always keep me thinking and feeling peaceful. Thanks again.

What a beautiful picture. I love green, too. My hikes help remind me of the green since there are many evergreen plants and trees up in the woods, and we had a beautiful blue sunny sky yesterday, even with the dabs of snow here and there. :)

Thanks, Thomma Lyn. I miss the greenwood this time of year. It's a warm day with nice, blue sky so that helps quite a bit.

A nice reminder that spring will be here in three or so months. Not long.

It's just around the corner, Barbara.
