Gratitude Monday - Argentine Coast

I loved this sight. It's a simple sight and that is its power. Ocean, mountains, the Argentine coast. Land to the right of the photo and nothing but open ocean to the left.
It was magnificent and I'm so grateful to have seen it.
Why?
Because it means I have travelled. It means I was there and I got to see something new, different, and unusual for my life.
It was cold, refreshing, empty, and silent. What could be better?

Travel really is something to be grateful for. Yet so many people barely appreciate where they've been. We have friends who seem to have a miserable time whenever they get out of their comfort zone. But travel with a grateful attitude is one of the most enriching experiences we can have!

Thanks so much for sharing your travels with us!

Crabby, you're absolutely right. I've heard so many people complain about the trips they've taken that I wonder what is the point of them travelling.
I'm pleased to share my adventures.

ahh, I love this! I am grateful for all the different places I get to see as well! Thanks for opening my eyes! Going to Lisbon, Portugal this weekend, this will definitely put a different spin to what formerly seemed like a stressful trip :)

That is exactly how I feel and I am so glad to know another that feels the same way. I meet people so often that seem to take seeing the world for granted and it blows my mind, I just don't understand. It is an overwhelming joy to me to get to travel.

It's good to know you feel the same way about travel, Erin.

There's so much world to see. How can one tire of it?

Leah, when we travel there's a wake up that makes us very small in proportion to the rest of the world. Thanks for the photo

Leah J. Utas said...

That's exactly right, Tom.

cold refreshing empty and silent.

you have such a way with weaving words.
making ones which Id initially think are 'negative' into bright & positive & powerful.

Leah J. Utas said...

Thank you for your kind words, Carla. Means a lot.
