"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy."
-Hamlet, Act One, Scene Five
This above all: to thine ownself be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man.” - (again with the Hamlet)
Beautiful colours in this one, Leah. Love it. Apologies for my lateness in commenting and my lack of photo. We have visitors at the moment so time is something I don't have. :-)

Those 2 look as though they are nestled together beside a tree on a sharing a secret.
Love the color purple!
Great shot.
Wow - those are gorgeous! And I love purple, too!
Quite the flamboyant orchids. How large were they?
Thanks, Dawn. I never though about it, but you're right. They do look like that.
Thanks, Bag Lady.
Ron, I don't recall, but they're nowhere near the size they appear in the pic.
Nero Wolfe would have been proud of that one.
Pretty indeed!
That's a luscious looking blossom.
David, I didn't know he was in to orchids.
Bossy Betty, it's quite striking.
Hilary, good way to put it.
My favourite flower in my favourite colour. Just lovely Leah.
One of the prettiest flowers I've ever seen. Thank you.
You are welcome Reb and Messymimi.
They have rabbit ears!
That was just what I needed to see as my surroundings get browner and browner and drier and drier--some tropical purple.

Mary Anne, I never saw the ears until now.
Glad to brighten your day.
I love purple, too. All flowers are gorgeous but orchids have such mystique. They're peaceful looking. That is really a great photo.
