Gratitude Monday -- Food of the Gods

Chocolate.
It helps me write.
It's a pleasant diversion.
And it's health food.
How could I not be grateful?

If you're wondering, the Latin for chocolate is Theobrama Cacao which means food of the gods.
Here's a link on for more:

Chocolate history.

How do you feel about chocolate?

Food of the Gods. If I tell my beautiful charming wife she will say "Aha! I knew it."

Deep down we all know it, David.

There is always dark chocolate in my house!

Good to know it, Tabor. You never know when a chocolate emergency will strike.

Dawn, it's the best. I try to have some each day. In the interest of maintaining good health, of course.
Hope your week goes well.

If I could live on coffee and chocolate, I would be a happy camper.

Thanks for bringing up this timely topic. Chocolated-covered anything suits me just fine...

Messymimi, I'm camping right there beside you.

I honestly can't decide whether chocolate is best married to peanut butter, or to almonds, or to cashews.

If it takes the rest of my life, I'll keep testing each until I come to a decision.

Inspiring post, Leah!

Thank you, Frank, for your tireless research in the interest of science. I will help in any way I can.

The darker the better. Come to think of it, I haven't had any for a very long time. That must be remedied soon.

Leah J. Utas said...

Betty, those are good additions.

Hilary, yes, though I like a taste of milk chocolate now and again. Preferably with caramel.
