"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy."
-Hamlet, Act One, Scene Five
This above all: to thine ownself be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man.” - (again with the Hamlet)
That reminds me of the "truffle hog" for some reason (maybe because your description of "snuffle" rhymes?) I never knew there were such things....but I looked it up after my son "declared" there were actually hogs like that which exist- And they DO! Trained pigs to hunt Truffles!! (Although...I am sure you already know this;) Guess your picture reminded me that I knew too:) (Ahhh...it's been a long week.)
Thanks for a great picture to end my week on. Have a great weekend Leah. dawn
When my wife was a little girl, her favorite animal was the pig. It persisted until well into adulthood, to the point that a stuffed piggie as a gift was always a welcome topper to any birthday or anniversary celebration.
She'd agree he's a keeper. Not enough to adopt as a pet, mind you, but a picture on the mantel probably wouldn't be out of the question.

Dawn, I was thinking about truffle hogs when I posted this.
Young swine are cute, I think, and pigs have quite a personality.
Have a great weekend.
Oh, he is so cute! Love his coloring. I can remember when your dad had pigs.....
Bag Lady, agree about the colouring.
I've got a soft spot for hogs.
Very cute and the colouring is actually quite pretty.
He makes me want to go dig up some leftovers to give him -- I'm a sucker for feeding cute babies.
I think so, too, Reb.
Messymimi, I understand.

He's a cutie. I love the markings.. he almost looks like he fell into some ashes.. ash first.
Great photo, Leah. The thing is the poor little thing is probably going to end up on someone's spit! :-)
Hilary, pig-wise he's adorable.
David, that's about the size of it. Thanks.
