"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy."
-Hamlet, Act One, Scene Five
This above all: to thine ownself be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man.” - (again with the Hamlet)
A place I've always wanted to go to. One of my uncles was in Cairo in 1956. Awesome photo despite the smog. The closest I've been is tanding beside stone portions taken from buildings that have inscriptions in the ROM in Toronto. Interesting vibrations.

Mary Anne in Kentucky
Yeah, what Mary Anne said!
Wonderful picture, cousin.
I never thought of it that way, Mary Anne, but you're right.
Thanks, Bag Lady.
It's also sobering -- will we manage to destroy these things that even time and weather have only touched?

Messymimi, agreed. We've caused so much harm in so little time.
Barbara, thanks. It is well worth the trip.
