He was so undisturbed by the traffic--just focused on breakfast. I know nothing of grizzlies, or bears in general, so how is it I look at him and some part of my backbrain says "puppy"? (And how did this take four days to show up in my blogger feed? Wow. I'm used to things being a day late, but four?)

Thanks, Tabor. We suspect he was digging for roots, but I am sure he wouldn't pass up a grub or two.
Whatever it was, roots or grubs or both, i'll bet they were delicious to him, which is what matters.
