"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy."
-Hamlet, Act One, Scene Five
This above all: to thine ownself be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man.” - (again with the Hamlet)
Thanks, dfBagLady. I'm quite proud of my Finchbutt photos. I never thought I'd be enjoying my meals looking up a goldfinch's tailfeathers, but it's a highlight of summer.
I assure you this is Mr. Finchley. He and Madam were the first goldfinch couple to come to our feeders years ago and they have remained faithful customers.

Great butt shot, there! The Bag Lady has never seen a goldfinch in her neighbourhood (let alone so up-close and personal!)

Hey, for some reason that made me think...how are your New Year's resolutions going? HA!
Great picture Leah, just what we needed to see on a cold January day!
Don't tell Finchley, but from this angle she looks really fat!
Actually she looks like a lemon with a toupee and some sticks!
Sorry, I get weird when stressed, I'll be better in a few days.
Holly, thanks for asking. I haven't had occasion to tell anyone to go to Hell yet, but my resolve is strong.
Glad you enjoyed the pic, Reb. Try not to get too stressed.
It...looks like some sort of bizzare rotting lemon that's mutated, grown legs and desire to rule over mankind...
(Womankind, of course, will be just fine).
Hey, Reb & stormy are right...are you twying to twick us, you wascally wabbit?!
