An Abundance of Wild Tea

This is Labrador Tea (Ledum groenlandicum) and it makes a very tasty tea. The new growth is especially tasty, but it's good any time of year. Among its uses as a medicinal tea we discovered it's good for the tummy when you've eaten too much.
Crunch up a tablespoon or so of the leaves and steep in warm water for 5-10 minutes, or simmer on the stovetop for a few minutes. It smells fresh and inviting like you're walking in the forest. It's fine on it's own, but a bit of honey makes it memorable.
It grows on the edge of forests and among evergreens and there appears to be plenty of it.

Today is the new moon. It's time to write your abundance cheques. Find out the time of the new moon in your area then write yourself a cheque signed by The Law Of Abundance. You have a 24 hour window to do it.
Happy Abundance.

Crabby, it is. And it's free for the taking on public land.

Thanks, dfLeah. Must go look again at the little patch of flowers I was wondering about out in the pasture...

And thanks for the reminder about the Abundance cheques!

What's a "cheque"? (hehe-just kidding!)
Will write an American "check" :-) Hopefully it will count too!

Mmm, labrador tea sounds great, and the flowers are so beautiful! :)

No labrador tea flowers here, but the wild blackberries are ripening -- yum!

Ladrador Tea is one of my favourites, TL.
My husband is a big blackberry fan and would be thrilled to find some in the wild.
