A happy pooch in Trinidad de Cuba.
He seemed happy enough although the look may be deceptive. This poor little hot dog was amusing himself by wandering back and forth rubbing his sides along a short stretch of cement in the noonday sun.
Whether he was a stray or owned I don't know, but Scruffers was certainly itchy.

Both Laurie Powers and David Cranmer have their photos up. Check them out. I think you'll enjoy it.

Being a stray in some of these other countries is a tough life.
Yes, I agree. I does appear that he's enjoying it though.
I think you're right, David.
Laurie, despite everything I think Scruffers was happy.
He's certainly a cute little guy! He could even have been a professional, making his living by fooling the tourists into thinking he was homeless so they would feed him! Scratching was just something to do in his off-hours.....
:)
Bag Lady, you may have point. That's exactly what I'd do.
He was just itching for you to notice. What a sweet-looking little thing. Look at the length of that tail!
LOL, Hilary. He was a cutie.
Aw, I want to help him!!! I hope he was happy...no, no, I'm sure he's happy. :-)
Mary
Mary, I am convinced he was happy. I wanted to pet him, but common sense won.
Sweet little guy, making the most out of life, no matter his situation. I know I could learn something from that.
Lessons appear in the dangedest places, Messymimi.
A clever attempt at looking cute to make you share your sandwiches with him, that's what I think.
Dawn great to have you back. I suspect your are exactly right.
