"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy."
-Hamlet, Act One, Scene Five
This above all: to thine ownself be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man.” - (again with the Hamlet)
Abraham Lake from Windy Point
This is one of my favourite spots along The David Thompson Highway (Highway 11).
The lake is man made. The North Saskatchewan River was dammed in the early 1970s.

Oh, i can imagine being there, and just feeling the tension run out of me!
This is one of my favorite spots too but I like scrambling up the steep slope and going behind the top of the ridge.
Glad to read it, Messymimi.
Red, sounds like something I need to do.
What a beautiful spot. Is the water truly that turquoise? It's heavenly.
Hilary, yes. It is exactly that turquoise.
I haven't done a thing to it.
