Gratitude Monday -- Mountain Lunch

We had lunch in Golden, B.C. on Saturday.  The setting was wonderful.
We made the trip to the see the wolves at the Northern Lights Wildlife Wolf Centre.
Afterward we had a picnic behind the Visitor Centre in Golden.
It was a lovely spot and I was even able to get a really good cup of coffee there as they had Kicking Horse Coffee.  It is a good coffee, and it's made not far down the road from there.

Mike enjoying lunch in a grand setting.

Oh, I do miss those mountains and cool weather!! Hot and humid and pulsing here. No jacket weather.

Oh, to picnic in the mountains! Really must get myself organized and make plans for a road trip!
Thanks for sharing, cousin. (Seeing Mike from behind reminded me of your dad - what's with that?)

Tabor, I hope you get a chance to visit them again soon.

Bag Lady, road trips are strongly recommended.

Mike is wearing one of dad's jackets for one, and for another, I don't know but I see the same thing you do and it is kind of freaky.
And I am glad to learn it is not just me!

That is a beautiful place for a picnic! And good coffee is a treasure, we are blessed to have many good brands made around here, too.

A picnic, mountains, and wolves…my cup runneth over. Sounds like a great day!

Messymimi, it had a really good feel to it, too. And good coffee makes everything better.

Kimberley, it was among our best.
