I read this is: you can choose today, carla, to make your corner of the world peaceful as well.

This is a good reminder, especially as I'm about to head off to my not-so-pleasant job. Be grateful for what I've got, right now.

May you continually be surrounded by the peace that passes all understanding.

That's key, The Merry.

You as well, Messymimi.

I'm grateful for many things and peace is certainly up there near the top of the list. I see images on television and try to comprehend the horror of living in such an environment, trying to raise children, find enough to eat - with the chaos and horror of war all around.

I live in a peaceful corner of the world and I am immensely grateful for that.

Thanks for the reminder, Leah.

Yes, Dawn, that's it. The horrors of the world surround us, but we are ourselves at peace.
You're welcome.

I really need to put my contacts in when I am commenting on blogs in the mornings - sheesh! "Greatful" indeed.
