"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy."
-Hamlet, Act One, Scene Five
This above all: to thine ownself be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man.” - (again with the Hamlet)
Between Great Falls and Lewiston the land is open and rimmed by mountain ranges. At certain times like when I stopped to admire this eastward scene, I could swear I heard a brontosaurus stomping.
(Though as much as I love the image of gigantic dinosaurs roaming the land, I'd sure run like hell if I actually saw one).
Thought of you this morning--we're staying with my partner's mom (just out of the hospital with back surgery) and where she lives, they've brought in a herd(?) of goats to deal with the fire hazards of dried grass. Never been around many goats before; they're pretty cool. Don't know what was in their lunch pails, though.
You're both right. If I actually saw a dino in the flesh I'd panic. I hope I'd have the presence of mind to get a photo first, though. Cool about the goats, Crabby. Thanks for thinking of me. Hope your partner's mom recovers quickly.

Pretty picture but, that fence doesn't seem big enough to keep the dinosaurs in. RUUUUNNNNN!!!!!

Goats have enormous personality, don't you think?
But I'm getting sidetracked - that looks like what I call "big sky" country. Beautiful - except for the dinosaurs!
That's exactly right,Dawn. Montana is known as "Big Sky Country."
