"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy."
-Hamlet, Act One, Scene Five
This above all: to thine ownself be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man.” - (again with the Hamlet)
One of our treats on the trip to Egypt was to sail in a felucca on the Nile.
This is across the harbour from Aswan. If you enlarge it you will see some feluccas on the right.
Love it. Now I want to visit Egypt. For some reason it had not been on my bucket list. Probably because my husband has no desire to visit Eastern countries, but now with all of the positive things happening, I would like to put it on my list of countries to visit. Loved this picture. The Nile is beautiful

Great photo, Leah. My mum and dad have been to Egypt twice and they said the cruise on the Nile was fantastic.
It's just a shame about the recent troubles and the impact they may have on tourism for a country with so much history and charm.
Have a great weekend!
They look very interesting! I am glad you managed to take a sail in one!
Thanks, David. Your parents are blessed to have been twice. I do hope the tourists come back.
Bag Lady, it was a dream come true.

Nancy, it is beautiful, if filthy.
Once things calm down I do recommend Egypt. It's good for instilling a sense of the greater world.
Awesome. I love getting out on the water!
Chris, it really was.
Just beautiful! Looks like a serene method of travel.
You nailed it, Reb. Most serene.
Wow.. so cool that you got to do this. Something you'll no doubt never forget. Thanks for the photo.
Hilary, it was something I wanted to do for years. Glad you enjoyed the pic.
Evokes dreams of sailing away and not coming back to the everyday cares of life.
Thanks.
You are most welcome, Messymimi.
Great capture Leah. You just added one more thing to my list I want To DO!
