Summer is winding down. Yesterday morning the air had a bite to it and the grass beneath my feet was crisp.
I am grateful for the change of seasons for a variety of reasons, but the main reason is it helps me to appreciate the season as we have it.

Those are so pretty.
We had frost yesterday morning for the second time this week. I am grateful I picked my tomatoes before the first one!
Bag Lady, thanks. I'm glad you rescued your tomatoes in time.
Pretty flowers! I like them because they are so easy to grow, I will have to get more next summer.
Sometimes i just wish the change didn't come quite so soon.
Pretty, yes. I have no idea about how they grow as Mike does all that.

Thanks, Crabby. Glad those wacky tourists are thinning.
Dawn, best of luck with the corn.
I'm also a fan of having four distinct seasons. Each has its charms but I'll admit to liking the one around the corner best of all. Autumn is just plain wonderful.
Frank, I couldn't agree more.
