If You Were Wondering...

...how much snow we've had, then these photos will answer your question.
Well, to be honest it only half answers it. This is the amount we've had since I cleared away 6-8 inches last week. I've been too lazy to go out and shovel, plus it just keeps coming.

I think the snow hat makes the bird house look rather cozy.

This is just weird. This hole in the snow formed all by its lonesome. I've no clue how. But I like it.

For perspective here's that hole in the snow. As you can see it's on the front porch railing. It looks like it's made a snow bridge.
You can see on the railing how it's piled up out there.

I hope this tides all my poor, snow-deprived readers over for a while.

Methinks you've had more snow than we have. But that's okay - we've got plenty.
Great photos! Love the snow bridge - must be a peek-hole for the snow fairies!

I consider myself invited, MizFit.

The snow fairies! Of course! You're absolutely right, df Bag Lady. Glad you like the pics.

Snow is so pretty to look at! And so cold to endure. Love the Snow Fairy peekhole! Is that so they can check who's at the door? Only Santa allowed in....

I think that's it, Tokaiangel. The Snow Fairies are looking out for us.

Snow, Snow and more snow. I've had my fill already. I shoveled with my kids 3 times this past week alone and there was 6+ inches ever time. I need beach and warm weather time.

I understand, Tom. But the snow season is just barely underway. You've got more fun in your future, I'm sure.

I love the snow fairy peek hole - very cool shot. Isn't is time for the poles to move to an east-west orientation so we become equatorial though?

Leah J. Utas said...

Thanks, Reb.
The pole shift is still a few years away I think. We'll have to be patient a bit longer.

Oh wow, such beautiful snow, and I love the cozy-looking, snowy birdhouse!

Happy Holidays, Leah, and I wish you all the best in the New Year!

It all looks beautifully Christmassy! Even though I'm used to Christmas in the middle of summer, there is still something very romantic about Christmas in the snow.

Thomma Lynn, the bird house looks snuggly enough to make me want to crawl in for a nap.
All the best to you and yours. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season.

Dawn, it wouldn't seem like Christmas here without the snow. It has a very good publicist.

We have had three significant snowfalls in the past few days, so we're looking pretty much the same. But I love your Fairy entrance and the snow-blanketed birdhouse. Lovely shots.

Thank you, Hilary. Snow lends itself to good photo ops.
Hope you're weathering it well there. Stay warm.
