Statue in a square in (I believe) Santa Clara, Cuba.
The man behind the statue was our tour guide.

That's an intriguing statue! Is the water really pouring out holes in the boot, or do I need another cup of coffee?

It is, Bag Lady. Have the coffee anyway.

My first thought was what a fascinating design, and next to wonder exactly what it is supposed to symbolize.

Glad you shared it.

Great capture, I like the light on his face, cute idea for a fountain.

Messymimi, you're welcome. I wish I knew the history of it.

Reb, thanks.

What an odd fountain. Sculptures and fountains often are weird, aren't they?

Leah J. Utas said...

Chris, they sure do show off the imagination.

What an interesting statue.
And even more interesting is why they chose the water to spout out there...?:)

Some things will have to remain a mystery, Dawn.
