Random Acts of Autumn

Welcome to Autumn in the West Country.

Please come through with me.

A fine rhubarb crop rests on my altar.

Four hills of potatoes from my little garden gave me this.

A guest in the yard enjoys a bit of cool in the late afternoon heat.

Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate your visit.

I know I say this far too often but I picture your home/surroundings as a writers paradise.
Somewhere I could THINK and find stillness.

Inner and outer.

Dunno about paradise, Miz, but this place has its moments. Plenty of stillness, and I find it inspiring.
Perhaps you'll visit someday.

LOVED the photo of the bridge.... and the rest of them were good, too. The cat looks perfectly content.

Thanks for the tour of Autumn in the West Country!

A beautiful glimpse inside your day. These are wonderful shots of a September day.. sigh!

Now I don't feel so bad about my potato crop. I thought I had done something wrong.

I love that kitty!

Those country roads don't exist here like they do out west. Gosh, now I'm homesick.

df Bag Lady, that bridge is just about my favourite sight here. I check it every year in the fall.

Thanks, Reb. Kitty seemed quite at home here. I think it might be a stray. Not sure, though.

Thanks so much, Hilary. Glad you could come along.

No, Bunnygirl. Potatoes are just like that. I knew you'd be taken with the cat.

Barbara, no country roads? That's an outrage!

That cat looks content, and I'd be, too, if you'd let me fry up summa those yummy-looking home tubers.

My spuds are your spuds, Clare.

Lovely! Leah, you and I have so much in common -- nature lovers, gardeners, lovers of cats. We have rhubarb in our garden, too, and what a great pile o' taters! And oh, such a gorgeous orange and white kitty. :) My big orange kitty boy is waving a floofy paw in salutation!

I'll send your kitty's greetings along next time this kitty comes to visit, TL.
I've noticed our similarities in outlook. TL. I've also noticed we often get the same results in FB quizzes. Scary, but in the good way.
