Autumn Grace

Autumn is touching the land once more with its gentle caress of changing colors.

For as sad as we may see it, the season brings the harvest. Soon the land will rest in the cold sleep of winter to be reborn in the promise of spring.

And agree with Tricia!

Thanks, dfBag Lady. I'd forgotten about the pond in town. It may well be my new fave place.

Autumn already? I thought it wasn't until next week! I do see some brown out the window (I can only see treetops 'cause I live on the 12th floor) but I think that's just a dead branch.

Obviously I'm a city dweller, so photos like this are chicken soup for my soul.

Hello Melissa - Calendar autumn isn't for a bit yet, but the trees don't know it. Glad you like the pics.

df Leah,

Autumn is my favorite season. If you are seeing such lovely signs of autumn's approach, I can anticipate the same very soon.

dfTerrie - Autumn is my favorite, too. The crispness in the air, the touch of frost, and the colors make me feel alive.

Mark - I suspect the world looks very similar there. Glad you enjoyed the pics.

Thomma Lyn, thanks so much. I love the character of autumn. Life's final explosion before resting.

Polly, thank you for your kind words, and you're welcome. It's good to know my pics are appreciated and I'm glad I made you feel better about fall.
