Ten years ago today Mike and I got married.
It was an outdoor ceremony on a warm, lovely late summer afternoon in Police Outpost Provincial Park in southern Alberta.
The woman in the far right background is my mother.
Chief Mountain in the background. The Park is one of my favourite spots. I went there in the fall of 1985 or 1986 and looked around. It was then I decided if I ever got married that would be the spot.
We were together for eight years before we got married.
I am grateful for each and every day.

Happy Anniversary!!!!!!!
Thanks for sharing the pictures; they're very sweet.
A happy marriage is indeed something to be very grateful for, and it sounds like you have an exceptionally happy one.
Thanks so very much, Crabby.
Ah, I remember it like it was yesterday! Cannot believe it was 10 years ago already! And it was such a gorgeous day, and a lovely ceremony. And the boat trip on the lake afterwards was terrific!
Congratulations to both of you on your Anniversary!
(It was great to see the photos again, too!)
That's lovely, Leah, thanks for sharing and congratulations.
dfBag Lady, it was a gorgeous day to be outdoors. I have no clue where the time went. Thanks for the anniversary wishes.
Hello Polly, thanks.
Happy Anniversary! I find it hard to believe it was ten years ago too. That boat ride was a great idea too.
Reb, thanks. I'm quite sure you took both the colour photos I posted.
For readers: the boat ride Reb and the Bag Lady refer to was on the lake in Waterton National Park.
We rented the boat for a few hours in the afternoon.
Very nice! Happy anniversary! :)
Thanks, Mark.
df Leah,
Happy Anniversary to you and Mike. May you have many more joyful years together.
Terrie
