Gratitude Monday - Friends and Laughter

I spent the weekend with my best friend Sylvia (centre) who insisted on taking me for an early 50th birthday celebration. She’s going to be out of the country until just before my real birthday in November and schedules made this the logical weekend.
Our friend, and her workmate, Gwen (right) was there for the celebration, too, and it was wonderful. We laughed. We ate for about three hours. I so enjoyed being with loving, kind, secure women who are happy with where they are in life.
I am deeply grateful for the time I get to spend with my friends and for the laughter and the love they bring.

Looks like a great time!!
And being with good friends certainly is one of the things we should all be grateful for! (Well, that, and the laughter, too.)

Happy early birthday! Scorpios are the coolest star-sign :0) I agree, nothing makes me feel more grounded and take-on-the-world than a good group of friends.

TA - Thanks. I'm actually a Sagittarius, but a really early one, right on the cusp.

and that 3rd adjective, secure, is what finally made this woman capable of being a true friend.

growing into myself.

why do I think that they, too, know how treasured they are as your friends?

you seem so...whats the word...open? loving? balanced? saywhatyoufeel? (I cant find the word) that way.

Carla, thanks. We need to come from a place of security or we can't really give of ourselves no matter how much we want to. It takes work to get here, and I'm still working on it.
I do as best I can to let the Treasured Ones know it.
I usually say what's on my mind. Friends and foes alike are mostly used to it.
