I've lived here for 20 years as of yesterday and my first day at the Mountaineer newspaper was 20 years ago today.I have a great deal to be grateful for and the best way to show it is pictures.
I hope you enjoy the sights as much as I do.

as always your posts make me think and also calm me (what that says about my morning state Im not certain) AND make me wonder (what's the hubby making? where did you move FROM?).

Husband is currently carving a lynx mask.
I've lived in several places. I'd worked in northern BC and then moved home for a few month(Barrhead) before finding the Rocky job. Prior to BC I'd worked in Olds and that's about 70 miles south of Rocky.

Tom, this area does have a really good feel to it. If I've captured that, then I have done my job.
These photos are the product of all three of our digital cameras, the Fuji Finepix, a Pentax K20D, and the Olympus. I've got so much to learn on all of them. And thanks for your kind words about my results.

Do you have a heater for your bird bath? I've considered buying one but am flummoxed as to what to do with it in winter.
Frank, good to see you here. The pond is an especially lovely spot.
Our other bird bath is heated. We use a heated pet bowl. It works very well and it wasn't until it got -40C last year that snow covered the top of it.
